The RMHC Radiothon raises more than $150,000 annually in support of its mission. Each generous donation provides families the most important commodity of all: time. By eliminating cooking, cleaning and travel time, Ronald McDonald House allows families to gain an additional four hours with their children every day.
The idea behind Ronald McDonald House is based on a simple theme: providing a “home away from home” for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. At a time that is often painful for children and their anxious parents and siblings, the House offers a warm and comforting setting where family members can be “at home” together.
