About Spirit of the Capital Region:

At Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, we have been working on a project called The Spirit of the Capital Region (SOTCR). It’s a video series featuring the many local businesses, events, and charities that those in our area can be proud of. We were set to premiere the series, but due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to take the project in a different direction. Now, we will feature a local small business or organization in a short video blog on weekdays to get the word out about what they are currently offering, and how we as a community can support them (while practicing the recommended social distancing).

We Want to Hear From You!

Hi, my name is Emily. I work for Martin Harding & Mazzotti and this is The Spirit of the Capital Region: Social Distancing Edition.

Many of us are spending nearly all of our time at home to protect our health and our community. And it can be difficult to make sure you’re getting enough exercise.

Thanks to a recommendation from Crystal on Facebook, we’ve got fitness covered with today’s featured business, HIIT it With Britt.

While gyms are required to be closed to the public for now, HiiT it With Britt is offers the following in their private Facebook group for members.

HIIT (or high intensity interval training) workouts 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday. With each day having a different “focus,” like upper body, lower body, etc.

Rotating specialty class every day including Sunday, like yoga, barre, or mobility. On demand access to all workouts so you can do them anytime you’d like. Bonus mini-workout videos, pop up seminars on topics like mindset, mindset, personal growth, nutrition, mental health, and more. A weekly private Zoom call with a positive mindset topic for open discussion, and a supportive community of 400+ members.

All workouts can be completed with any equipment, and if you don’t have equipment, household items will do.

In addition to all of the offerings in their private group, HIIT It With Britt is offering FREE mini workouts 3 times per week on Instagram and Facebook! The mini-workouts also come with a video tutorial to show you how to do each exercise.

Their trainers are all still hard at work every day helping members with their fitness goals. And I know that healthy routine has been really important to their clients.

Thanks for listening, and stay well! My name is Emily and this is the Spirit of the Capital Region: Social Distancing Edition.
