Jonathan Stone was born in Chicago and raised in upstate New York. He earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY Empire State College and graduated cum laude from Albany Law School in 2001.
During law school, he was selected to join the Litigation Clinic, wherein he assisted low-income clients in landlord-tenant disputes in Albany County. It was there that he learned the urgency and significance of a person’s security in their home, livelihood, and family. Jonathan was an editor of the Albany Law Review and a quarterfinalist in the Karen C. McGovern Senior Prize Trials competition.
He was admitted to the bar in New York State and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York in 2002.
Mr. Stone has spent the majority of his career representing individuals at a crossroads in their lives, both as a consumer bankruptcy attorney and now as a member of MHM’s Workers’ Compensation team. He focuses on seeing every client as a unique individual and passionately seeking justice on their behalf.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Injured Workers Bar Association.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their retired racing greyhounds, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.
