Kelly has been practicing law for 23 years and has brought more than 25 cases to jury verdict with a greater than 90% success rate. In addition, Kelly is a Board Advisor for the Albany Therapeutic Riding Center— a nonprofit organization that provides equine programs for people with physical and emotional disabilities. Kelly also volunteers with The Legal Project dedicating her time to the legal needs of the most vulnerable members of the Capital Region.

Over the last decade, Kelly has developed a practice focused on employment law. Her caseload has included representing employees that have experienced discrimination, sexual harassment, USERRA violations, and NYS and federal wage and hour violations.
