One of the most memorable cases that I worked on was a case back in January of 2020. And it was a case where our client was a nurse, she was driving back from work late at night, and unfortunately, a drunk driver crossed over the double yellow taking her life. It was a case that I was able to try with my father. And, you know, this is our family business. Growing up, I’ve always wanted to be an attorney, and to be in a position that I can try a case with my father was one that I just looked forward to for over 30 years. And to bring a family through a trial is a very difficult thing to do, but we were able to get the family through it.
And in Washington County, we were able to obtain a $4.86 million verdict, which was the largest motor vehicle verdict in that county. And it was something that was very moving to go through and we were in a position where we were able to help the family that wanted to go through this long process. So we did it for them and it was a great result and ultimately helped this family vindicate the life of their lost mother.
