About Spirit of the Capital Region:
At Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, we have been working on a project called The Spirit of the Capital Region (SOTCR). It’s a video series featuring the many local businesses, events, and charities that those in our area can be proud of. We were set to premiere the series, but due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to take the project in a different direction. Now, we will feature a local small business or organization in a short video blog on weekdays to get the word out about what they are currently offering, and how we as a community can support them (while practicing the recommended social distancing).

It’s Thursday, May 7. My name is Emily, I work for Martin, Harding & Mazzotti and this is the Spirit of the Capital Region: Social Distancing Edition.
Today we are featuring Tara Kitchen, which serves delicious Moroccan cuisine at their Schenectady and Troy locations. They offer exotic yet accessible dishes—from tagines to couscous—infused with the complex blend of spices and ingredients unique to Moroccan food. Tara Kitchen has also created a line of distinctive jarred sauces which can be purchased directly from their website or at several grocery stores in the capital region.
Currently, their menus and specials are available on their website, www.tarakitchen.com, and you can place your order there as well. Thank you Tara Kitchen for doing what you can to help your community at this time, and for making tasty Moroccan food we can all enjoy. And as always, thank YOU for listening. We are still accepting suggestions for businesses and organizations to highlight. And you can find our past episodes on Facebook, or at the website listed in this post. Stay safe and healthy!
