Justin Myers is a lifelong resident of Upstate New York and a magna cum laude graduate of the University at Albany. He received his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 2007 and was admitted to the New York State Bar and the United States District Court for Northern District of New York in 2008.

Justin began his legal career as Clinical Graduate Fellow with the Law Clinic & Justice Center of Albany Law School, representing children in special education matters and adults with developmental disabilities. Upon the completion of his fellowship, Justin accepted a position with a local consumer bankruptcy firm where he concentrated his practice in the fields of bankruptcy and residential foreclosure defense. From 2016 – 2018, he was elected by his peers to serve as the President of the Capital Region Bankruptcy Bar Association.

Justin has extensive experience handling matters before the bankruptcy courts of the Northern District of New York and New York Supreme Courts throughout the Capital Region. Additionally, Justin has argued appeals before the NYS Supreme Court Third Department and the Suffolk County District Court.

When a position at Harding & Mazzotti, LLP was offered to him, Justin eagerly seized an opportunity to apply his experience and compassion for helping those in dire need to the firm’s clientele.

Justin regularly volunteers his time at The Legal Project , Inc. counselling pro bono clients, and is also on the Board of Directors of the Legal Equality Advocacy Firm (LEAF).

In 2019 Justin was honored by The Legal Project, Inc. with the Kurt Clobridge Memorial Award for Pro Bono Service.

When not at the office, Justin enjoys playing soccer, hiking, camping and spending time with his family.
