Utica’s Most Dangerous Intersections

Part 3 of our most dangerous intersections study brings us to Utica, NY and it’s surrounding counties. Below is the analysis of car accident reports in Utica, New York and two surrounding counties; Herkimer and Oneida, from January 2015 – December 2016.

There were 6,308 car accidents reported at intersections in the two counties resulting in 1,845 injuries and 10 fatalities during this time period.

Why did we undertake this review? We hope that our efforts reviewing and consolidating this data helps raise awareness of these dangerous intersections. Identification can reduce auto accidents, injuries and possibly save lives. Ultimately, that is what we hope to achieve with this review.
