Adam Hover

My name is Adam Hover. I’m a litigation attorney here at Harding Mazzotti. I love this role because it allows me to interact with clients, as well as defense counsel, insurance carriers, their adjusters, the courts, sort of everybody, and I get to see it, from beginning to end, working with all of those groups. I would tell a new client that was considering retaining Harding Mazzotti that what you get with this firm is not just the attorney that becomes sort of the figurehead or the person that you’re going to deal with on a regular basis. There’s a whole team behind me that is handling the day-to-day, the things that the client may never even see, from getting medical records, from following up with investigations. All of that information ultimately comes to me, but it’s those people that are gathering that information, collecting it. It’s not just me. It’s an entire team of us that they have in their corner working for the best result on their case. During law school, I worked as an insurance adjuster for an insurance company. After law school, I started my career at a defense firm where I represented companies or defendants in a lawsuit, doctors in hospitals for malpractice, and now I’m on the plaintiff’s side where I represent individuals. And I think that gives me a very interesting perspective from how it works before litigation is commenced on the insurance side to how it’s handled on the defense side, and I think it helps me to better represent my clients on this side. What I do in my free time outside of work is I love to travel. I love to travel with my family. As a husband and a father of two girls, I’m very active in their sports. Both of them play sports, so whether that be coaching, assisting, or just being there as a supportive dad, I enjoy doing all of those things. One of the things that I enjoy the most about working here at Harding Mazzotti is sort of the family culture that we have. I mean, I’m here an awful lot to do a job, but it doesn’t end there. I have many coworkers who are part of my family’s life, who my family is part of their family life, and I think that that helps everyone operate as coworkers when you have close relationships like that, and it’s not something you see everywhere and it’s very beneficial and special to me.
