Project Description
Norman Andrew Palmiere, Esq.
Of Counsel
Admitted in New York
Norman Andrew Palmiere, Esq., joined Martin, Harding & Mazzotti LLP (MHM) in 2021 following MHM’s merger with The Palmiere Law Firm in Rochester, NY. Palmiere brings more than 30 years of personal injury litigation experience to the firm and has achieved settlements and jury verdicts in actions for product liability, workplace injuries, sexual assault and civil rights violations, as well as motor vehicle crashes. Some of these lawsuits have resulted in multimillion-dollar settlements and verdicts against the State of New York, DuPont Chemical Co., county governments, towns and villages. One of Palmiere’s most notable cases includes his work on a hazardous roadway case that spanned several years and was argued twice in the Appellate Division, Fourth Department and New York State Court of Appeals, affirming a $15 million win for the clients. Other significant cases include a tragic boating accident in the Thousand Islands that resulted in the death of a California man, a falling tree in the Village of East Rochester that resulted in the death of a father of three school-age children, and numerous other cases involving life-altering injuries, each resulting in significant settlements or jury verdicts.
Palmiere attended St. John Fisher College (1981 graduate), completed law school at The University of Dayton (1984) and earned his Bar Certification in 1986.
He is eternally grateful to his father, Norman Anthony Palmiere, known throughout New York State as a “lawyer’s lawyer,” for quietly inspiring him to pursue a life in the law and stand firm for others.
Palmiere will now lead MHM’s Rochester practice and serve as a regional liaison to MHM’s appointment centers in Buffalo and Syracuse. A lifelong Rochester resident, he grew up in Irondequoit and now lives in Pittsford with his wife of 31 years, Carol. He has an adult son, Andrew, and enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. Palmiere maintains strong relationships with past clients and prides himself on the connections he has created—and kept—throughout his career.
