Lauren grew up in the Capital Region and graduated from Emma Willard in 1999. After high school, Lauren attended Union College where she studied Sociology and Anthropology.  She received her Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in 2006 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2007.  During law school Lauren participated in the Family Violence Litigation Clinic representing clients who suffered violence at the hands of intimate partners.

Lauren has always had a passion for helping people. She began her legal career as prosecutor representing a local department of social services in child abuse and neglect cases in Family Court. Subsequently, Lauren worked as an attorney for the State of New York and handled administrative hearings involving child welfare and daycare enforcement throughout the state.

When the opportunity arose to join the team at Harding Mazzotti, Lauren knew that this position would allow her to continue to pursue her passion for helping people and advocating for her clients. Lauren joined the firm in 2019 when the Child Victims Act was passed and has helped hundreds of clients navigate the process of pursuing sexual abuse claims.  Lauren also represents clients who have experienced employment discrimination.

In her time away from the firm, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling and exercising.
